经过长达一年的筹备，FAN Records 终于释出了我们的第一张合集。建立之初，我们并没有选择像大多数厂牌一开始就释出合集的做法，而是决定先为音乐人 LJC 发行他的第一张 EP。如今 FAN 已经成立两年时间，我们也认为是时候邀请一些心水的艺术家，来集中表达一下我们的审美了。

这一次合集，我们邀请到了几位我们喜欢的音乐人，包括常驻深圳的制作人 3ASiC 和已经发行过 EP 的 LJC ；沪上活跃的 Beat Lament 和 Diipset ，以及曾在上海地下音乐场景频繁露面的 Downstate。最后，我们还有两位首次正式发布音乐作品的制作人 Warlock BBD 和 Status 7，他们都有其他身份，在其他地方或多或少地为人熟知。

合集在preview阶段先行放出了两首曲目：3ASiC & LJC - Shimmering Lights 和 Warlock BBD - 活体解剖-Vivisection，前者有精妙的旋律和声音设计，后者则有黑暗的氛围与受到 Drum n Bass 系音乐影响的随性鼓点。还未释出的五首曲目也各有特色。

FAN Records 将自己定位成“一个发行 Grime、 Wave 和独立 Beats”的厂牌，在两年的实践中，我们对这一定位的理解也在不断加深：Grime 和 Wave 是我们偏好的风格，而独立 Beat 则可以囊括一切，而不仅仅是单一风格定义的音乐。因此，这张风格庞杂的合集将会呈现出和 FAN Records 此前发行相当不同的听感，也代表着我们音乐理念的精进。
